Nothing gets me more fired up than a wild turkey on a pretty day. Here’s one I caught during a run in Somerville a few weeks ago.

Sometimes we get a turkey on our street, though for the past few years the best spot to scope a turkey has been the Stop and Shop parking lot in East Somerville. A recent reddit post confirms the turkeys are still there. Here’s one of me and turkey at the old S&S from 2025!

For our anniversary, my wife and I took a quick trip to Plum Island. It’s real nice there! The tiny center of town has a bit of a California beach bum vibe. Unsurprisingly, the turkeys of PI are much more athletic-looking than my hometown turkeys. Look at these svelte babes! They can even fly!
