About

I am an experienced organizational leader, software and hardware technical lead, and robotics research engineer with 10 years of industry experience in startups and large companies performing fundamental research in robotics and AI and tech transition into fielded products.

I spent nearly a decade leading autonomy at Aurora Flight Sciences, a Boeing Company. I also built assorted machines and robots at MIT (Go Beavers!!), at Seegrid, a factory robotics company, and Nub Labs, a company which planted the seeds for a lot of other amazing companies.

I am a devoted family man and super proud of my two young children and the life my wife and I are creating together. I’m also big on making pizza, bicycling around, and writing music. These days I write and record as Billy Bliss and with The Drills.
